Greenway Foundation Center

This project features a 1000 square foot nature center built for the Greenway Foundation of Denver. Located on two of the main rivers of Denver, with a direct view of the confluence of the two rivers.

The entrance immediately drops to river level, allowing for a more intimate view and connection to the river. The view features the namesake of the park it is located in and clearly frames the confluence view. This information additionally holds information on the river and the foundation that helps to conserve it.

An additional room serves as classroom space for visiting classes and office space. Two platforms, emerging from each side of the building provides exterior space for potential events or additional viewing of the river.

This building emphasizes the river it was built to celebrate and conserve. Conserving it for generations to come and enjoy.
