Stereotomic and Techtonic

A study of the subtractive art of stereotimic
architecture. This resulted in 8”x 8” wooden object with a series of subtractions, rotation, and voids.

The study and creation of this object revealed the effect of stereotomic architecture-- producing a strong and unyielding object.

A study of tectonic architecture. That resulted in 8”x 8 wooden object with cohesive geometries, rotated planes, and a sequence of varying thicknesses.

The study of the additive technique of tectonic architecture produced a lithe object with striking geometry.
